Selaphiel is a Black/Death Metal band hailing from Cantabria, in the north side of Spain. Jesus, the mind and soul of the project, has announced recently that they’re back to their personal studio to start the production and recording sessions of their second attack.

Helped again by David, his mate in Gathering Darkness, all he can say is that «all the previous brutality is again with us, but we have added new influences, new thematics and new vocal lines». It seems that an evolution is happening in the Selaphiel’s duo. «It is a big challenge for us, because we have chosen Spanish as main language, and we have put a lot of intention on it, speaking the words carefully to be understood by the listeners», he added.

When I asked him for the recording sessions, Jesus said «It was very similar to the first demo. We worked some details a bit more and it is less improvised. We walk towards a more strict way of work, but we don’t forget the premise in which we created the band. Everything is done with old fashioned recording material. We have even recorded a lot of stuff with an old eight tracks studio». A total declaration, of couse.

New good shit is happening…

About how was the process of production, he proudly said «it was great. Very fluent and quite easy to be honest. It was also hard, but we got what we looked for so…».

Selaphiel is a great blast of unholy Black/Death Metal with a lot of old school blood. It’s just for followers of the old sound. No modern shit here, and the demo tape format is very important for the band as Jesus said «We want to define our sound so we will continue recording demo tapes till it happens. In the past, it was very common in the bands to record some demos before to proceed with an album and we will continue this way».

So, this are the words of Jesus of Selaphiel, who is very excited with the continuation of «Death Metal on the Cross», their successful first demo tape, that their are finishing just now. More news about it soon.

Pinchar para hacer más grande

There are news in the Opposer basement. They have announced in their Official Facebook that Morenation Infernation has left the band recently and they welcome to Jesus, their new guitar player.

«We met him almost two years ago in the Shamrock Fest, introducing ‘Remember the Past’ album and he bought our CD with tons of small coins. After some days, he told us that he really enjoyed our album and, if we are in the need of his services, just let him know», says Jose, frontman and one of the founder members of the band.

Now the line up is closed again, and they’re finishing the writting sessions of their upcoming new album which name is still unknown.

«Remember the Past» is the first CD released by the band in 20 years, and it contains all their classic songs of early 90’s. It is still available through labarosrecords@gmail.com

To make a better promotion work, we have signed with Transcending Obscurity PR for our present and future releases.

We have started this cooperation with the promotion of Gloom’s «Doggod», which we totally support and trust in turn it in a reference.

Hails,

Grimuack has upload a sad new to their Official Facebook. Baphomet and Sucor Benoth have left the band after of a lot of years of working in this veteran band. Remember that Grimuack started to spit blasphemies against Christianity back in 1994 and they signed with Morbid Shrine Productions for their fourth album. Now, it will take some more time while the band looks for new members.

Hails,

Djevelkult’s «I Djevelens Tegn» is available for digital order in our official Bandcamp. But, of course, you should get the physical copy of this masterpiece of Norwegian Black Metal writting here.

Djevelkult is actually working in their next attack which we’re sure that will be another cult album of old school Black Metal mixed with the material of the mid 90’s of their country.

Stay tuned!

We have uploaded «Doggod», the second album of Gloom, to our official Bandcamp. Now, you can get the copy on CD and digital.

Soon, we will upload Djevelkult’s «I Djevelens Tegn» and Selaphiel’s «Death Metal on the Cross» so stay tuned!
